TEA Science Safety Standards — Your Feedback Matters!

TSELA, in collaboration with the Texas Education Agency (TEA), is hosting an opportunity for science educators and leaders to provide valuable feedback on the TEA Science Safety Standards. Your experience and perspective can help ensure these standards effectively support safe, high-quality science instruction across Texas.

How to Participate:

• Get started: Watch the short overview video for instructions and an overview of the process.

• Review the flyer: View the TEA Science Safety Standards flyer for the feedback schedule, Zoom collaboration dates, and participation steps.

• Create your account: Register for a TEA ShareFolder account using this invitation link. Once enrolled, you will receive an activation email.

• Access the documents: Visit the TEA ShareFolder to access the materials. The overview video provides additional instructions for locating and reviewing the documents.

We encourage TSELA members to participate and lend their expertise to this important work. Your voice can help shape science safety guidance for classrooms across Texas.
