In the TSELA by-laws revision, associate members are non-voting member and therefor ineligible for officer positions. Lisa Filske accepted a position before her term started that made her ineligible to serve. Instead of appointing a president-elect in June, the board held a special election during the winter business meeting and elected Caitlin Couch as the new president elect. We are excited to welcome her to the leadership team and congratulate Caitlin! A special thank you to Lisa for being willing to serve! Check out the draft meeting minutes coming soon for more information.
Congratulations to our TSELA OLISE Award winners and finalists! These amazing science leaders were honored for their contributions to science education at the Annual Meeting. We are grateful to have such a strong group of leaders in TSLEA.
